it's friday eve!!!!

had fun with suzanne tonight. we went out for dinner & then went shopping. (as much as i hate shopping!!! we only went to target & walmart - that's enough for me!!!!) she got the cutest sandals!!!!!

i've been playing around on the computer tonight (when i should be sleeping!!) & have added a signature to my blog posts!!!! and i've added old wooden boards to the sides......and i'm not even computer savvy!!!!!

the p31woman devotional this morning was so appropriate!!! i was in one of those "i'm not feeling loved" moods & this one smacked me right between the eyes!!!

Our heavenly Father is not some far away God. He is near to us and we can approach Him, regardless of our needs. Our Father wants to be involved in every detail of our lives. He wants to know and share in our joys and our pains. Mostly, God wants us to know He loves us and there’s not a thing we can do to change that. His love is unconditional. Will you allow God to wrap His loving arms around you and wash away all your fears as He whispers to your heart, “I’m here for you—no matter what” today? Dear Lord, thank You for Your unconditional love. Please give me the grace I need to stop fighting and to receive Your love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.



i struggle sometimes having faith in God. i have a friend who is struggling right now with having faith in God. why is it so easy to say, but so hard to do - even when we KNOW we should do it? i KNOW God is going to be there, but when looking at this "little part of the big picture", it's so easy to lose focus & feel like He's nowhere around.

God, please help me to have faith in You.
