i got my truck!!!!!!!!!

i LOVE my tractor but i LOVE my truck EVEN MORE!!!!

i am one happy texas countrygirl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i couldn't believe it when doris called me this morning on my way to work & said, "you wanna stop by after work & get your truck?" if i hadn't already been almost to work, i would have gone & got it right then!!!!!!!! i'd look at the clock every hour or so & think, "4 more hours......3 more hours......1 more hour til i can leave here & get my truck!!!!!"

the bluebonnets are in full bloom!!!!

i have to straddle this one as i drive into the garage!!!!

i've never seen a driveway that was bloomin' like this one is!!!!!! there's always been a straggler or 2 in the front, but NOTHING like THIS!!! (and the HOA is leaving me alone!!!!!)

I LOVE IT!!!!!

remember the friend whose bathroom i painted? the artist? well, i asked her if she could paint me a picture of a truck. she said she would if i got her a picture of one. i didn't want just any old truck off the internet, i wanted it to be MY truck. i found one in dripping springs & i found a tractor on the way to gruene.

i asked if should would do both & she said yes!!!!! she did the tractor 1st. (not gonna show you the truck picture yet! gotta wait til the painting's done!)

i wanted her to take out the hay bales & telephone pole & add some bluebonnets.

it's PERFECT!!!!!

i'm not sure exactly where i want to hang it/them, but for now the tractor is in my bedroom. i might have some major rearranging to do!!!

doris asked me what i was gonna name it. (she suggested "tommy tractor" -- nah. i think i'll name it "she thinks my tractor's sexy"!!!!!!!!!!)

it's a signed, limited edition 1/1 original -- someday it'll be worth millions!!!!!!!!

but to me, it's priceless -- just like the artist who painted it!!!!!

mustache fun

it's no secret that i love mustaches.

i had a mustache-decorated christmas tree this past year.

i've got mustaches in different places around the house.

(and that's only some of them!!!!!)

my friend laurie made me mustache magnets & ornaments.

my friend lorraine gave me a mustache calendar.

i've "papered" the insides of my kitchen cabinets and when you open the doors, there's a little mustache surprise inside each one!!!

i did a favor for laurie & she surprised me with a mustache keychain that she made!!! it's also got a star on it -- another of my favorites!! THEN a couple days later she surprised me with a mustache usb drive!!!!!

i have a cricut machine & i had purchased a download of a mustache set last year. when my old computer crashed, i thought i'd lost my mustaches. last week when i cleaned up the craft room, i found the instructions to load it back onto my new computer. i signed in to the cricut craft room thinking i wouldn't be able to access my downloads because i don't have the old email address anymore, but it worked! i could sign in with the old email address and still access my stuff!!!!!!! yay!!! i didn't have to buy it again!!!

so now i can make all the mustaches i need!!!!
